rantoul, il
has anyone ever had them together? the leopard bush fish seem to be very docile and seems to be a good match for a ray any thoughts.

What tha heck is a leapord bush fish!? Lol! Just kidding.. they should work just fine. The only thing I've read is that the LBF is hard to get off live and I wouldn't want to deal with that hastle. Also, they only get 6-8". If your ray gets too big it may consider it food someday. Good luck and keep us posted!

I Agree with Peter above.
The Leopard bush fish (Ctenopoma acutirostre) are very peaceful fish that only bother fish they consider small enough to be on the menu. The problem is like Peter has already pointed out the eventual size,an aduly Motoro. leo or Hen for example would over power it, will be fine for a while till the ray reaches a 20-25cm disc, these climbing perch are not the most palatable fish, very hard scaled with a rigid body.

I had them together and they were great. the leopard was 5 inches and so was the ray. I put 10 feeder guppies in for the two of them to find and eat...big mistake. That fatty leopard ate all of them in two minutes. Dead the next day. I want another leopard and my local petsmart has them but I have NO tank space until I set up my new tank this week.
