I just got a new 65 gallon tank which is planted. Im thinking of stocking some interesting fish in there. Will an african butterfly and 3 leopard bushfish work?

Yes

Ya, I've kept both, and they have always been passive for me. the bushfish are pretty interesting. Be prepared to get crickets for both, they seem to enjoy insects best.

Thanks a lot for your replies. Will try to pick some up soon! What other tank mates can be in there which are pretty exoticand odd

The bush fish are highly predatory of anything smaller, so just avoid things that will fit in their mouths, which by the way are massive for all the bigger they really get.

I keep 4 bush fish, I had Butterfly's but they bichirs ate them. Those two in a 65g would work good. The bush fish fish can pick on each other, but with enough hiding spots they should be fine. Both the AFBs and Bush Fish eat pellets for me.

Tatia species are very nice too.
