I know, just ment none other at lfs. The one I bought was there for like 4 months. 75 is full though so maby if I ever get another big one to expand the tangy collection.

Really tough fish.. this guy's been with me for years...

superb fish-I feel they are very underrated. My lfs has some in but they're only 2'' long-mine is in with some bichirs, Gar & Dats.

I bought mine at a Petsmart for $10USD each and both were already 3 inches long. They were housed together for at least 3 weeks at the Petsmart until I finally finished cycling my tank and picked them up. They never fight, but one of the Ctenopomas do rub bodies and tussle with one of the Nandus I just picked up last weekend. Your Ctenopoma looks great too! I can't wait until they get full size! Should be real impressive.

Brian forgot to say that tank set-up looks sound. Mine is kept in a pretty sparse tank with some big fish. I reckon this is why yours are more active & bolder.
