Leopard Ctenopoma

I am setting up a 38 gallon tank with livebearers like platies mollies and guppies. Could I add a Ctenopoma or will he eat the other adult fish? Any feedback or experiences is appreciated

I'm sure he'll eat the guppies. Maybe not the platies and mollies if they're big enough, but I wouldn't risk it if you really want a livebearer tank. Of course, you could just go with some tougher fish and go for the ctenopoma

I had a full grown one and their mouths are huge. They will eat guppies but mine didn't bother my full sized mollies/platies. I loved that fish. He will over eat if you feed a bunch of feeder guppies...I know. Man, now I need to get another.

Thanks I mite get one I don't really care about the 3 guppies I have. what is their max size? What do they eat also
