Been a while since I have been around here this year has been so busy. I thought I would share a couple pics of my two remaining reptiles. I will be graduating soon so I have had to downsize big time and I am honestly not sure If I will be able to keep everything through college but I am still working out the deatils on that. My tegu has become my favorite reptile I have ever kept and she feels like part of the family. Every time people come by they call her an alligator . I love her to death and I am hoping I will be able to keep her. She is almost 3 years old and 40" long at about 12lb's. My leopard gecko is about5-6 years old. I will update with better pics in a bit these came out pretty terrible.

Nice lizards!

I doubt that you'll be able to take the tegu with you to college unless you get an apartment that allows pets or arrange something with the college's biology department, so good luck with that. You're probably better off just letting your parents take care of it for at least your first year or two as after that you should be able to get housing off-campus that will allow you to keep it.

dont get rid of the tegu... he is way to cool. let a friend take care of him if you must

I wasn't planning on taking her. It was more if I go to college in state close to home so I can take care of her. My mom would probably have an easier time feeding the tegu than the leopard gecko because the tegu eats "people food" lol.

Thanks I am going to try and hang on to her.

Thank you :)
