I know this is probably a silly question but here is goes:
How often should I remoisten the vermiculite that my eggs are in. It seems to drying out really fast and how should i do this, would a squirt bottle work?

Yeah I would say a squirt bottle would be fine. But make sure it's not too damp. When you squeeze the vermiculite, water shouldn't drip out. Your probably going to have to spray it everyday. What are you incubating it in? I use a chicken incubator that holds water. The water evaporates and keeps the vermiculite moist.

Using a syringe worked best for me and i only dampened the vermiculite around the eggs.

I'm incubating them in a hovabator. And yes i have vent holes in the the case that they are in inside the incubator. Thanks for the help!!! :0)

no i got digital. I'll try and put some up this weekend. I'm not to good with computers that's all.
