I was just wondering what is a more active and fun pet for my nephew's birthday present?? or any other option's??
leopard gecko or bearded dragon??

well their both cool pets..i have 2 leopard geckos that are cool and when feeding them its really cool..they are also fun to hold but bearded dragons are also cool to..its hard to pick because both are cool
I'd get him a leopard gecko. I have two bearded dragons and if you dont handle them like every day, they end up being kind of mean. One of my dragons is very handleable, the other has given me two scars and cracked my moms fingernail in half. Bearded dragons also get alot bigger and need at least a 55 gallon aquarium for life.
I personally don't find them interesting, but I'd suggest leopard geckos too. My friend had a male and female. They are fun to watch hunt crickets, easy to hold, his didn't try and to bite or run, and you can probably get too lgs for the price of one bd.
I would say the Bearded Dragons. I have owned both Leopard Geckos and Bearded Dragons, and out of the two the Bearded Dragons are the best. (Really hard though too choose)

i have owned both i love the lgs because as they grow their stripes turn in to spots, smaller tank, cheaper to buy, cheaper to feed, and if they do bite it aint no biggie. But a beardy can pack a punch. beardies are pretty neat, but i would take the lg over the beardy for a kid and a beginner.
For your nephew? I don't suggest you get a beardie unless your nephew is serious about herps and is willing to buy a large tank eventually.
