leopard gecko persuasion

i have a bearded dragon, but for some reason my mum wont let me get leopard gecko's in my spare 30gal tank.
she seems to think that they smell.
yet she lets me have the stinky bearded dragon =P

i want to perseude her but im gonne need some good facts!
anyone feel like helping =)?

- Leopard Gecko's don't smell. I own them, and even their poop has no odor (if healthy). Reptiles themselves produce no odor (maybe except snakes that musk).

The type of diet they have means there really ain't much that can make it smell, veggie eaters poop might smell abit worse so if she can deal with your beardie she definately will not notice the Leo's being around =]

yeah its like a cat,they go in the same place and depending on the substrate you can just scoop it.Their crap is way smaller than the beards and from breeding both,the beards smell way way worse.Ive never smelled the leos.So mom,Im 33 years old and love my mom to death and see other hidden concerns about things like,will he take care of it,is he getting over his head and so on but if its realy the crap thing,no worries.Beardeds are like the pig to the herp world,leos are more like cats,but quieter.Also with beards they crap under the heat lamp and make it worse,leos tanks are not as hot and yukky.

Leos are also some of hardiest and easiest lizards to take care of
