Hello,
Well I might be getting 2 leopard geckos from a friend that can no longer care for them. Is their anything special that I should know about them and what can I feed them that does not include crickets? Thanks

Well a good start is to do some research. There are several leopard gecko threads on this site. And there are some good caresheets out there as well. Is this your first reptile? Are they giving you the tanks and the setups? If not you are going to need to pick up at the minimum a 20 long for your two geckos. Otherwise 10 gallon minimum per gecko. Do you know what sex they are? Make sure they are not two males and kept together or else they will fight.

Feeding would need to be some sort of insect. If crickets aren't your thing there are mealworms, pheonix worms, silk worms, superworms, etc. Or else you could feed them roaches.

For heating make sure to use atleast a heat mat and not a heat rock. Heat rocks can short out and over heat and burn your gecko since they cannot feel temps they will lay on it and not know they are getting burned. Heat lamps with the red nocturnal bulbs or ceramic heating elements are also good to have.

Thanks for the help. Yeah he has the tank and setup that he is giving me, he is moving and can't keep them. I'm sure they are not two males because he has had them for a while and the 2 don't fight. I will try feeding them different worms because I can also feed my fish worms. Thank you
