had 2 of them in a 20 gallon for about 4 years and the past 2 years ive had to hand feed the female because she will attack crickets but seems..i hate to say it but retarded. will take a bite, and like rip their legs off or just completely miss. The male gets them fine. is there anything i can do? shes pretty skinny

shes drinking BUT the male just bags the hell outta her and shes always laying eggs and then she looses weight

Sounds like she needs to be separated to gain some of her weight back

Execept if you have like a haren of many females for one male, its not a good idea in most cases to keep a male female pair fulltime. Separacion is defenetly needed. Even if a neurological prob its possible its not likely, the female its just weak and starving

Generally as mentioned its not good to keep leos in pairs. The male will just keep maiting with the same female and it will stress her out and cause her to loose weight. A harem of 2+f to every 1m is good.
