Very cool shots, I love the last one! I've wanted to train my marbled to feed from forceps but haven't gotten around to it; I've been warned that it trains them to associate tools/hands with food and makes tank maintenance a problem; Have you experienced any problems as a result of this feeding method?

Great action pictures!...my word those Leos have grown since you got them only a short time ago........love that Hystrix girl!
Thanks for sharing!

i feed my hystrix from that same tool. boy, do they jump at that thing when it comes near them. i love it! also do u have any probs with the geos nipping at the disks at all? my abalios loved messing with the rays. i had to seperate.

Hi.

In the leo tank i keep some heckelii... a lot of nipping when i feed. Some times it actually seems like they are rather trying to rip a piece of their discs...
- Each time they bite a ray, the rays loses some of the food. And you can see that they know what they are doing... Bite the ray = lots of food.

In the histrix tank i keep a group of Geophagus proximus. They do not tuch the ray at all.
