I have had these guys for about 8 months now and they are all doing fine. Had to change some plants around as I was struggling with some species and changed until I found some that suited my tank.

Tank as it stands:
55g planted with driftwood
2 canister filters
300W external thermostat heater
Pressurized CO2

Inhabitants:
6 Pterophyllum Leopodi (Longnose/Dwarf angels)
2 Rams
1 Lyretail checkerboard dwarf cichlid
2 small bristlenose plecos
1 skunk cory
and a few ghost shrimp that survive before the next batch are dropped in.

Here are the pics. Comments, criticism, suggestions and questions all welcome.

beautiful setup, not many people can make the blue background look good but you got it.

These angels are one of the nicest looking species imho.

Do you have any clips of them?

Great looking tank :)

Cohazard- Thanks for the compliments. The flash really brightens the blue background. It is a very dark blue under normal lighting. No clips as of yet but will make one this week sometime. I really do enjoy them as well and for their small size they are pretty agro compared to scalare.

Dragonsong- Thanks;)

Nice tank! You have some beautiful looking angels.

Very cool angels, and not commonly seen! I like!

Got any pics of the checkerboard cichlid? I love those things.

Tropical- Thanks how are your babies doing?

Death Pony- I took some of my little guy but they didn't come out too well. will try again this evening to get a few decent ones.
