Need some help with my new leo pup. First day in tank, my stupid endli takes a nip out of his tail. I moved the endli, but the poor thing still seems really stressed about it. He hasn't aggressively eaten yet and this is his second day in the tank. He rarely moves and breaths heavy once in a while, he just kinda sits there and will occasionally cling to the side of the tank. I added some salt to help with the tail nip, and sand to help him feel more comfortable.
He's got some bigger tank mates but they ignore him completely.
I have tried feeding black worms and he seems to have eaten a little, but didn't even care when I first dropped them in.
Anyone have any suggestions on making him more stable? I can't really remove any of the other fish so I'm hoping he will just get used to them, anyone have any suggestions, or similar stories, or does he just need time?
thanks.

cool pic :screwy:

your ray is still a pup and needs to be treated like one.

i would have kept her alone for a few days and not have added sand.

wht are these other fish in the tank? i saw a dat and some other orange fish in your other thread....

Patience, but I to always keep new pups in an isolation tank whether CB or WC. If nothing else
to help them destress and get eating well before adding to a main system with other tank mates.

Leo is doing much much better. deffinetly is eating now, and comes to the front when the tank is approached :)
