So what does everyo know about this fish? Anyone keep them? I haven't been able to find a whole lot of solid info. I would especially like to know their temperment with other fish as I bought one on an impulse a year or two ago and he has always had a tank by himself so I am hesitant putting anything with him until I know. Thanks

Lepidiolamprologus Kendalli is how it is spelled.

they get about 6.5 inches and are really aggressive. If a single one it depends on what you put it with. What are the possible tank mates?

I had a single male in with a bunch of stuff and it did fine. I kept mine with large fronts, calvus, compressiceps, haplotaxodon microlepsis and a few other random fish over the years and he was pretty well behaved. Spawning them is a different story though

They are jumpers....make sure your tank is sealed very well...they will find a hole. Had 3 jump and die on me....Last one made it through a tiny slit next to my HOB filter.... cool fish, have lots of hiding spots and rock work in your tank.

Well I was just going to put it with some indian shovelnose cats I don't really have any other african cichlids since my frontosa died. Also what would I probably be able to sell him for if he is indeed to aggressive to keep with any fish or I run out of tank space?
