In a dream
I have about 6 unopened bags of Carib Sea Tahitian Moon Sand but been reading alot about people using PFS so thinking about switching. Alot of people use Leslies filter sand but when i looked online to see what type/sizes they carried, they didnt have any listed? Do they still carry it? Or is it something they only carry in the stores but dont list online?

Probably give the Leslies here a call when they open but figure i ask you guys in the meantime. Thx in advance.

Or does anyone have a pic of the bag or the name of it? I might go check it out at the store later and dont want to buy the wrong stuff..lol.. Is it the silica sand?

When I went Im pretty sure they only had one type of prewashed pool filter sand in 50lb bags.. I like it, but make sure to wash it a bunch because it still has a lot of dust.

I just go in and ask for a bag of filter sand and they bring out a bag from the back.

You can buy 100 lb bag of Silica sand @ Home Depot for $8.

Called Lane Mtn Company.
The stuff I've used from Home Depot was different that PFS. The grains are various size; which gives a natural look but the smaller grains are too small IMO. They float and clound the water. PFS is perfect and much much cleaner.
