i've decided to change up my tank to one w/ less gravel. check out the photo below and tell me what you think and i'm assuming the water quality will be better since cleanup is easier?

the four photos are the exact same setup, just different angles. before setup was basically 2.5" of gravel and some lava rocks.
 
nice and it will be easier to clean, but it probably S*cks moving those big peaces of slate around when you do a waterchange. b/c fish waste can get trapped in/under there.

Looks sick. Might want to be careful incase your fish bumps the rocks and knocks them down, it could be fatal.

funny you said that cuz late last night, the RD ran into one of those edges and grazed up his right gill and eye, good thing he's a fast healer, already recovered by the morning :headbang2
