I was thinking of all the different ways that has been mentioned. There was one that I don't think has ever been mentioned, and that is what if we nuke ourselves?

Funny thing is threads like this will be laughed at all over the world on the 22nd if nothing happens... If something does happen, I doubt people will care about the threads.

The sad thing about all of this is that there have been quite a few reports of people who believed in this so much so that they have committed suicide thinking that the end of the world is going to be on the 21st of December, and a lot of stores have even started to do "special promotions" to sell more items to these believers...

It's funny because there's actually Mayan writings about dates after the 21st, but the average joe wouldn't know this. Also, with the Romans effing the calendar all up, the real date was like march 15th or something like that

I don't understand people like this.

Neither do i... the latest victim i heard of was a teenage kid who was probably around 15 / 16 years old... supposedly he got really into a lot of forum discussions about the end of the world, then one night after having dinner with his family at home, went to the bathroom, stripped naked and then ran out the front door and over the balcony of a tall building...

Sad to think people take this so seriously that they think the world is really going to end just like that... but i guess if it does, then i'll be eating my words...
