So I have had a couple lapredeI and a delhezi who havent really any pellets for last couole months and were getting quite skinny.

So I tried tilapia and they are going nuts for it. They even are more out and about now. Just thought id share.

Now any have an idea to get them to start eating massivore.

Mine love shrimp pellets, they fall apart when they get saturated with water, so the bichirs just snap up all the little pieces. They also at about 3" go mad for feeders. they can swallow a 1" minnow no problem. I had 6 yesterday, now i'm down to 1. I find that my delhezi has the most predatory instinct out of all my bichirs.

They also go mad for shrimp, just rip it into little pieces for them and they go hunting it like bloodworms.

Try soaking the pellets in the tilapia for a little bit, so the smell rubs in. If your bichirs are eating tilapia already, this will draw them into intaking. That's what I did a but with market shrimp tho.

Can also soak pellets in Vita-chem, Zoe, Zoe-con liquid vitamins, if they will take it. GL :)
