Lesson Learned the Hard Way

Well this sucks...

I looked at my bichir tank the other night and noticed my Delhezi wedged between the glass and a big rock...I reached in the tank and sure enough he was dead. Seems pretty obvious that he got stuck and asphyxiated (sp?). Just hope others can learn from this, make sure there are no crevices in your tanks....

Man I would be so pissed if I had a delhezi that died like that. I would be glad to even find a delhezi here

yeah they are actually not terribly common here in az...sigh...there actually is an LFS nearby that has some but they are babys and would be Lapredai food for sure...

sorry for your loss. My senegal was roughly the same size when he died from me stupidly transferring him to a tank with totally different water parameters and temperature without even giving him time to become acclimated

sorry for the del dude..

i lost my del just a week ago.. it disappeared with no clue in my tank... and i cannt find its body until now.

I had that happenned to me once and luckily I caught it before it was too late. Definitely a lesson learned there.
