I bought 6 Apple Snails a couple of weeks ago. I just like snails in my tank for a more natural look and I didn't have any in my 72 Euro. I looked up info on them to see repro. rate, plant damage, water param. etc.. Well the one thing I didn't look up was, "What thinks they are tasty!" Well apparently the 4 Yellow Tail Blue Botias think they taste great! The snails where not expensive but I went to 3 stores to find ones with the nicest color. When you add snail cost, time and gas I figure my Botias just ate a gourmet meal. Never thought to check what would eat them. So the next time I buy something for my tank I will add this to my list of things to check. Anyway if any of you have had an experience like this please share. Jjust thought I would give you a laugh at my expense, lol.

I dought a 6 dollar plant one time to come out the next morning and find out my pleco had sheded the thing in to bits and clogged my filtration
My wife bought a big apple snail and put it in my 220 which at the time contained 5 CL's (5"+) and to her horror he didn't last 5 mins. She called me crying...oops!
