is it female convicts with the flowing fins or males,i thought females always had the orange or red belly any help id appreciated,nick.c

Both male and female can get streamers, females have the color on their belly.(Photo from the google)
When I got my pair, both had streamers on their pelvic and dorsal fins.
Like Covetous said the females will have the orange on their belly. Now since mine have paired up her orange is mostly gone but her stripes and mask are way darker.
This is from the day I got the pair. You can see the orange in her belly and how her bars and mask are very fadded.
And these 2 you can see the orange is almost gone, but her bars and mask are very dark.
