when it come to piranha, no species are aggressive and no species are skittish. It's up to the individual fish itself. End of debate.

agreed^

commonly rbp are least agressive but i ahve seen some mean mofoing finger chasers out there

elongs, rhoms, irritans, manny and caribe are usually pretty agressive but its not always the case

That and it depends on the environment.

For a single, an aggressive RBP is going to be hard to find, in a group of 10-12, they're more aggressive.

for a solitary species, they're going to be more aggressive than the solo RBP, since they don't need large numbers to feel comfortable.

Its all up to the individual personality of the fish, how its raised, the conditions its raised in, the size tank its kept in, how comfortable it is... the list goes on.

I used to have 4 Red Bellies In a 40 Breeder tank. They used to kill everything that i put in there from crabs to plecos. One time while i wasnt home my uncle put in a kissing gourami like triple there size they killed it and ate it. After that i havent had any pirahnas since. So i woudnt know :)
