Quarantine Tank
Ive known and seen some pretty crazy fish combos in my lifetime and Im going out on a HUGE risk tomorrow on what im about to try.

Thus far my FRT has been very tame and friendly its entire life. She has never nipped any of my prized fish thus far.:)

Tomorrow I will be adding a ray into the tank. Worse case scenario is that the FRT bites a chunk out of the ray. At that point I will simply move the FRT into another tank and let the ray heal. The ray is also to small to hump and hold down the FRT to drown it. Ill also be watching the tank the entire day, which I know insures nothing!

I debated whether or not to even post this thread but I thought it would be nice to generate some ADULT discussion.

Good luck! I wish I had the opportunity to find out if an FRT gets along with a ray. If no one flames you, maybe I can find a way. :ROFL:

ohh ya before anybody mentions it im also very aware that the ray might just suck out all the eyeballs of my fish

Good luck. Worse case scenerio you will have to do what you said and remove someone. I get like this too, I just need someone to watch/be intrested and it seems to be all downhill from there. Keep us posted on every observation. I'll be keeping an eye for updates. So you have at least one guy on your team for this one so far!!

Yeah, I say there is a chance in a confrontation, but it would most likely strike the carapace, with no damage. Odds can be a b**** though.
 
ADULT conversation.... well, I'd watch out for the FRT getting too horny. Hey, you asked for adult conversation...

I have never heard of a FRT nipping. You should be ok.
