ok folks my 4ft tank comming in today a bit over 55 gallons...

NOW before i start im only keeping this tank for 1 and half to TWO years MAX.. probably 1 and half and then upgrade...

All the fish im buying are babies around 3 inches long.

Now i need your help to chose a nice companion for my FH (whose also 3 inches)

1. an oscar
2. Green terror
3. JD
4. Or any of the two

*NOTE: lol they are all 3 inches...not adults, so im hoping my FH will bond with them as they grow.. so pick TWO :D
 
GT and JD. actually, electric blue jack dempsey

oscars just arent as pretty imo. but its in the eye of the beholder.
 
Woot and i was thinkin FH, GT and Electrik Blue... but im curious my FH wont go after electric blue? weird.
 
The EBJD isn't as aggressive as the normal JD. Like purplecandle said: they're slow growers and stress and get sick easily. Wouldn't recommend putting one in with an oscar or a GT.

You could get a blue gene JD and it will almost have the same effect as the EBJD but will be able to stand up to the aggression. Just an idea!
 
ok so FH GT are fixed..one more fish :p !! i know alot of ppl hate buying really baby fish, but i think if they small they might adopt :p so one more fish? Electric blue? :p
 
I saw a true GT at the store, its around 3inches long, its SO BEAUTIFUL! nice colors on it to, store wants $20 for it... what should i do? :o its so nice!
