Milky Way Galaxy,
okay so i have been reading threads on how they have made rock for there marine aquariums. Now i wanna try it! so let me show you how i think i can do it can you guys tell me what i need to change? So first of all what cement mix should i use? after i figure that out id get a 50g bucket fill it up with the mix and add water and sand to it. But i dont uderstand how the sand creates holes in the concreate for the bacteria to live in. After i made the cement block i would rince it thurley leave it out side for a week in the sun and then get a bucket and rince it in a buket with prime. Then add it to the tank. So what do i need to change in my game plan? thanks guys. (by the way for maximum bio filteration would 700pounds of rock be enough?)

4 white spotted bamboo sharks, 1 cali ray, 1 naso tang & unicorn tang. and in a tank connected with it filled with even more live rock an sand possibly a koran angel fish. but i doubt i will do that as the fish wont have enough free swim room from all the rock

so what i can do is fill a 50g box with sand and dig a shape in the sand (making sure the sand is damp not wet) fill it with the cement let it sit for 24hr then pull it out soak it in white viniger for 12 hours then rince in freshwater then add to the tank? i shoud let the rock dry for a day though right? and can i use the same viniger for maybe 2-3 batches?

Hmm, I'd look into making either a live rock wall or a pile or two of live rock in order to provide plenty of floor space for the sharks and ray. For the wall, you could try to make interlocking pieces that will be flat against the back wall of the aquarium and go from there.

Should be fine as long as it isn't too dirty after being used as a rinse.

Exactly whatt I was thinking ! I was also thinking maybe in a corner make a cuby to act like a cave for them to get In and out of. You think 700pounds of live rock will be a strong part in my bio filtration?

Just tought if I did the rocks up against the wall food could go over the walls. and behind the walls could be dead zones right? As the rocks won't be perfectly flat agenist the walls. I think 2 big piles would be better right?

Yes, that amount will definitely be a strong part of your biological filtration provided that you let it get established and don't add too many fishes at once. The cave idea sounds pretty cool, but you're going to be looking at a decent-sized cave if you want it to accommodate the sharks.
