OK for $10 bucks I HAD to get it (yes peanut_power i actually got one). Now i would just like to know what it is. It was labeled as "Golden pike" which seems pretty far off.

"crenicichlapedia of PP" HAHAHAHA!!! For $10, i'm gonna say its a Crenicichla sp. 'venezuela'....thing with Lugubris pikes is that the juv. of several species look so similar, and top that off with different variants of the same fish from different locations...yeah...it can get tricky. Pretty sure its a Crenicichla sp. 'venezuela'...bout time you picked one up bro! HAHA! And that species will get big enough to go wit your BIG boys...;)...so you done good!
