Thats what i though but ive only seen black one in the region. other than sucking blood, will it do any serious damage to the fish? Channel cat, Pleco and some koi

can i feed it to my african cichlids? it cant hurt them if they eat it can it?

Leeches come in a variety of colors, black being fairly common. Many fish will eat them but if it is not eaten right away there is a chance it will find a hiding place. They seldom seriously damage fish unless they are large and the fish is small, but can damage gill tissue and the bite wounds sometimes become infected. If you want to try it use a needle to run a thread through itand tie it off so it doesnt get away if not eaten.

damn guppy! tie it up and dangle it, that might be fun with feeders!

Also with small earthworms
