One of 3 juvies I got growing out in the same tank. Attempting to get a pair. I had 4 juvies but ones face got ripped off in a fight to the death over a piece of krill. Anyway.. showing some decent color for a teeny tiny

I must say that when I quarantined the juvies they were milky white in color. And as soon as I moved them into the big tank they darkened up within a matter of seconds. Quarantine tank had pool filter sand and the big tank has black diamond blasting sand.

Is it to say their colors adapt to their surroundings. At least in the juvie stage? Couldn't have been stress. They were eating like pigs

Chocolates are famous for their colour changing ability. You've got quite the mix, Keyholes, Chocolates, Severums, Green Terror - all the same tank or different tank?

Your chocolates are looking good, mine is like 3" and bulking up. I only have one he is a f1 from Peru caught parents. Love the keyholes in the background I've been meaning to get some for my tank as well!

They're all in the same tank. Feel kinda bad for the sevs. My ph is a little hard for them at 7.7

There's a tire track eel in there too
