here is mine hope yall like it!!

I do like your young Mayan. I have a young one also, only about 3 inches. He was beat up by a Neet and a Polleni. Now he is moved down into one of my 40s (which is underneath a 90). He seems to be enjoying chasing my surviving female Cutteri all over the tank, so I'm going to move one of them, I can't have her getting beat up, she's a sweetherart who's been through a lot and gave me some nice offspring.

My 40s that I place under larger aquariums seem to get the least amount of attention and usage. They are just harder to look at and work on and this is my worst one. It has black gravel, the fish never show brilliant colors in this fish tank.

I am truly sorry for this horrific pic I took tonight, it is godawful in every aspect.

Man, he looks like a cadaver fish, the undead. Well, it's almost Halloween, so I guess it fits. But he (or she) is doing better than he looks, full of energy and appetite.

These guys are real terrors in the canals down here in S. Florida. They always bite the eyes of my bait fish I use to catch snook or peacocks. I think they are pretty cool looking though and have caught them up to 2lbs. Not a bad fighter on ultra light gear.

Hey question not a expert on red terrors but how do you know if you are getting a festae or a mayan??? they look alot like the red terrors at the LFS??
the eye on there tale is bigger than on festaes here look at the festae below, you see its smaller and on higher up.?

I am going fishing at my school (UM) tomorrow. They have large mayans in the canals. Anybody willing to come is invited. There are also fw barracudas, severums, convicts, grass carp, oscars, and a few other unidentified cichlids. it is like a free lfs!!!
