I've always wanted to devote a gigantor aquarium to nothing but a massive school of tiny tetras.

Anyone got pics/vids of their school tanks?

I tried, but pretty much all the small tetras ended up in my sump..note to myself, wet/dry and tinny fish don't go together too well.

You didn't just try to make a fishproof cage for it?

Was it unavoidable? I've ALWAYS wanted to do this.

i used to have around 25 neons in my 30 for a while, but i threw in a pair of baby pictus and overnight they all dissapered. i want to do a tank of just danios, they are just so active, maybe after i am done with cichlids in my 125 i will through in a hundred or so danios and barbs

Ive always wanted to do this too! Maybe once I get my next big tank set up I'll fill it with a couple thousand neons.

if I had to have a giant school it would be like 1000 silver dollars that would be sooo legit just imagine feeding that they would be like RAWR and just devour everything.


im going to have like 250 guppies in my 75 gal. im not sure if they are considered schooling. but what every so far this isnt working I have lost three batches of fish. first batch the other fish got into the breeder they were eaten second batch the mother ate them in the breeder while I was at school. batch 3 I didnt separate the mother and they were probably eaten by the other fish in the tank. 4th batch is coming up in a week or so.

now im done ranting about guppies

I have about 30 Buenos Aires Tetras in a planted 125. Tank is outside and they look really cool in the sunlight. Pretty aggressive for a 3 to 4 inch fish. No pics, sorry.
