lets see those mini monsters

Let me just say.. that I think mini monsters like this are woefully unappreciated. I only have space for my five gal ATM.. as I need space for me herps and my stick insect breeding operation.

Bettas aren't really considered mini monster since they really aren't all that aggressive... They have a reputation for being really agro, but it is only males on males that are aggressive to each other.

I have a male betta that lives with a female permanently and they don't ever hurt each other

that's interesting, its seems it just me who has bad luck. My old betta kept three angelfish two gouramies in check and killed two decent sized plecs and also swallowed 30 neon tetras...

my current betta kill count is two mollies one platy two anano shrimp and a couple neon tetras along with two dwarf frogs

it all depends on the betta I guess..

I had 2 crown tail males that shared a 10g. But if I introduced a third they would shred it. Weird but true.

Weird. Mine are never aggressive. This guy I've had in a 12gal for 1.5years. Now he's in a 42 bow. Up @top. I prefer short fins, they swim good. Notice he's right in current. I also wouldn't call them monsters. But I will credit them for introducing people to this great hobby.

they are pretty awesome...they are mouth brooders to boot^_^...my current breeding stock is up to 11..with about 60+ fry..love these fish. google them for better pics ^_^

yeh I wanna see those too.. I would call them monsters as peeps call gars bichirs Oscars monsters but they never really agro tho
