Picking up my first dovii on Friday, a 12" male. Interested to see pics of other big males you guys have, I know there are some monsters on here! Will get better pics once I pick him up. What do you guys think of him?

Looks a nice shape, shame the lights aren't on. Dovii fins rely on light reflection to see their blues, need your tank bulbs right at the front panel of glass Ime.

My guy is small so I won't bother posting but looking forward to some updates of your fella.
 
Yeah the pics aren't the best but i'll update when i've got him and he settles in a bit. I'm thinking blue bulbs will help bring out his colours?
 
they are a lot thicker set than jags, he must be about 1.5-2" wide and he hits the glass hard trying to get the dog lol
 
Use a blue and a white side by side, I do this on all my tanks anyway tbh, totally transforms the clarity through the water Aswell as boosting fish colours.
 
I have two white LED floodlights on the tank and two 54W white T5s, just ordered some 54W actinic bulbs so will see how he looks with those bulbs. Thanks.
