Let's see your German Shepherds

Nice looking dog, Indy. He looks stout! I like his lines.
My old boy Ty, a red sable East German working lines dog. His dad was a Lord vom Gleisdreieck grandson and his mother was from Kennel Jabina. He strongly favors the Jabina dogs. He was SchH1 and had bone crushing jaws.
Poor old man died in November 2011. He was the best dog I've ever had and I miss him dearly.

Shortly after I joined the army and stopped with serious schh training.
The day I brought him home

There was a cat door in our garage at one of the houses I lived in when I was stationed in Oklahoma. Whenever we would open the garage and come home, this is what greeted us!
Swimming in the river AND chewing a stick? You can't beat that!

And finally, the day he died. His body quit on him, but you can see his spirit was lively right to the very end.

Nice looking dog.. I am sure you miss him as they are truley unique animals. I was hoping to see more shepherds in the response... In the meantime I will post another shot..
Shepherds are definitely my favorite breed. The loyalty and devotion they show us is incredible. I have a shepherd mix but I'll tell you what. I feel bad for the person who walks in my house who's not supposed to be here.
