so i commented in the thread where the guy has the moon jellyfish polyps and i said i have the same thing growing in my tank. entirely too small for me to take a picture of(only stand a centimeter at most off my live rock and some on my back wall of the tank), i do not have one of those good cameras that can zoom in crazy amounts. i have a digital and i can try but i doubt it will come out clear enough to tell. well anyway they look like the exact same thing this guy has in his tank from the thread, they are white look like they have tentacles coming off them, some are longer than others. the things im trying to identify seem to be in lower flow areas of the tank. are there specific differences like placement in the tank they choose or a difference in appearance i should look for? ive googles aiptasia but everything i see is either not white, or has a thicker looking stem that what i see in my tank. i tested my water the other night after i realized these were in there: 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites but my nitrate was up there at like 20. i have nitrates out of the tap and do regular weekly water changes of 15-20% but they never seem to go down. other than RO/DI filters is there another way to remove the nitrates before i get it to the tank for water changes? RO/DI filters are expensive, i do plan on getting one but have other priorities before i can purchase that. i have not had a fish die yet in my 7 months of having a marine tank because of my params. i have had a four stripe damsel die from being picked on by my clown but not because i have poor water quality. tank water is always clear, fish are always normal colors and always eat normal. but anyway i hope its jellys and not aiptasia, having jellies would be badass, i would only keep like one or two though if any
