Letter to state Representative...Ideas?

well in my gov. class i have to write a letter to one of nevada's representatives. what should i write about, something dealing with fish keeping. my idea was allowing asian aros to be imported legally to the US (what is the law that prevents this?) thanks.

Would love to see this happen but it is more of a fisheries aquaculture thing. I have contacted several people myself and some agencies say they can be in the US but others say No.

Someone needs to get to the center of it.

I don't think that is an issue he/she could address. I think it would be easier and more productive to write to him/her about a leading controversial issue in politics right now; Some ideas would be your feelings about universal health care, gun control, drinking age, don't ask don't tell, or core blood/ stem cell research, to name a few. I hope this helps.

the letter really can be about anything. but i want to write about something i am interested in. something dealing with fish keeping, if there is any.

You could always base it on an Environmental concern that involves a particular Native fish. Conservation and the importance that specie has. Sometime it is these activities that can lead into some greater good.
