Leucistic or Albino goonch?

is the goonch albino or leucistic ? His eye looks like dark red to me am i getting color blind in my old age. LOL

Need to view it in natural lighting to judge whether this specimen is erythristic or amelanistic.

It looks to me like an albino because you can still see the pattern. Leucism tends to completely get rid of the pattern causing the animal to be solid white. Hopefully someone else can chime in. Either way, that thing looks amazing! I didn't even know they existed

no red eye = not albino due to pigmentation of the iris. Definitely tyrosinase-inhibited, though.

Like you said before, natural lighting would definitely help but the op said that the eyes appear to be a really dark red. You can't tell in the pic though

I have only seen these pics someone sent me and i couldnt really tell if they are red or not from the pics thats why i asked.

FWIW, that goonch is *probably* Bagarius rutilus.
