Picked up a fish labeled leukamani and my lfs. He is definitely in the bass family. After researching alot I'm starting to think feeders arent the way to go, but how do I get him to eat anything else. I've tried blood worms, pellets etc. I need something live he likes the chase. Any ideas?

Also leukamani the actually name or is it classified as something else.

Thanks.

Sure i will take a few when i get home from work tonight and post em up.

leukanani

another name for peacock bass
if they are small it is best to feed guppies as they need to be full, keep high temp around 86 so they dont get ich
mix in blood worms now so its easier to get them on other frozen food later on

yep... nothing special... just another name for peacock bass;)

how big?
if its really small, dont starve it yet.
pump it up on feeders until 4-6 inches.
but teacher fish also work really well.
even at a very young age.

first ive heard of peacock bass being called by this name.. well i guess you learn something new everyday.. lol..

feed guppys or rosey reds till they fatten up!
