These were sold to me as leukini bass. I have no idea what that means and I couldn't find much information on google. Any inputs?

Lukanani is a common name for peacock bass. Usually when they are labeled Lukanani they farm raised cichla being Mono/ocelli hybrid

Agreed ....most lfs have them labeled as lukanani...which end up just being mono ocell or a hybrid
