Yea he had to give it up. Could not house it any longer. So he gave me a call he knew I wanted it.

Tell me about it there good and ready for the 240g. Or maybe the tank you have.

I saw one in SF with a broken nose that was 2 - 3 feet long. No plastic surgery for these guys. He was very healthy just had a bend nose.

Wow, that's awsome that you got that fish. You get a pretty good deal? Broken nose and all, it is a beautiful fish!

Sucks about the nose, but he's gorgeous. As you already know they are capable of growing to more than 40" in captivity. Try feeding him shrimp if he'll take it. Hopefully that bent nose won't deter him. I wanted that fish myself but didn't have the asking price for it. Would look really nice in the 3000 gal I am building though lol. Good luck with it. Keep an eye out for infection around the broken area. Not much you can really do unless you have a surgical tank setup to do surgeries on fish. Put him in some sedative, run ariated water through his gills while he's out, bend snout straight and use stainless steel bracket to hold it while it heals. lol, jk.

Had to do more of a rescue for him, but I am going to still pay some cash;) but not nearly as much as anyone else would of had to pay. Mike is a good dude and even he knows when to put the fishes need's in front of everything else.

Thanks necrocanis. Already got him eating so I guess I will have to wait until he hits a few more growth spurts to see if it will straighten out.

Nah I am no fish surgeon.
