In a 10g tank w/wife n kids
I just set up my 125g AGA tank and it's sitting on a Oceanic stand that has a top. The tank is level front to back but the water level is 1/4" lower on the left side of the tank. My question is how critical is this? Should I drain and reset it or do you think it will be ok?

1/4" side to side in a tank that long is NOTHING to be concerned about.

I'd try and level it just because I'm anal like that, but I think it should be fine. If it's really noticeable you can put some electric tape around the top of the glass to extend the rim so it doesn't look like crap.

Ok, that is good to know. Time to add the substrate. I was going to stick with a bare bottom tank but there is to much visible dung and I don't feel like cleaning it daily. BTW, tank stock is 7" oscar, 7" pleco, 3" pink convict, 4" blue acara and a 4" jag. Thanks for the info:)

Sounds like an unlevel floor to me, all of mine in the basment are off, but the tank is flat on the stand so it isn't under a strain due to twisting, it is just leaning with the angle of the floor.
