lexan to acrylic ... how to bond them?

i got a new sump, and its acrylic, but has two big holes for some reason, and i dont need them there ... so i got a peice of lexan from home depot
how should i use it to cover the holes?
should i use a PVC cement, or silicone ??? or something else?

would it not be easier to plug them with bulkheads? they make a special (glue) for that i know silicone will not work

weld-on for acrylic supposedley is the best but nowhere sells it! You'll have to order online (expensive) or call a local plastic shop.

Epoxy should work, too.
