I need to find a stand, preferably metal, for my 300 gallon acrylic.
Does anyone in Florida build metal stands?
Wood a possibility. Looking for metal though.
8' / 2.5' / 2'

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it!
I just can't go on looking at an empty 300g sitting on the floor!:nilly:

I've been looking for a metal fabricator also here in So. Cal. and finally looked in the right direction. I'm getting stands made for approx. $450 for unfinished 72"x36"x40", 1.5" tubular steel. GL to you in FL.

There is a wrought-iron place south of Fishy Business off of 427. You turn right at the light after Dog Track Rd, and it is on the right at the RR tracks.

...if that made any sense.

I know were you're talking about. Thanks alot! I'll have to check them out.

Anyone else know of any place or anyone that has or can build a 300g stand? Metal or wood.

Here is what the stand looks like for my 240g. It has pics on the page.

I dont need anything fancy on the inside. Just need it to hold a sump. Needs to be extra strong, able to be stained. It would need to have a flat surface all the way across the top of the stand being that it is acrylic and the weight needs to be distributed evenly. I don't want to spend a lot of money. I too have no job (no more Fishy Business). I bought this baby because it was cheap, $200, so I would like to keep on the same trend of low cost.

Here is the thread with the pics of my tank on it.

Make a stand out of cinder blocks like what it was on, and then staple fabric around the base of the frame. When you move, you can either take it with you or build a nice one at that time.
