LFS baby are acting wonky

Baby arowana at my local fish store acting all wonky. He’s like free floating and it looks like his slime coat is sloughing off? Maybe. I’m not sure but he’s curving his body and just kinda floating. I’ve attached pics. The local fish store and I are friends. I help out a lot, I dosed the tank with melafix? I’m not sure why but maybe in hopes that it would magically fix something. Help.

Maybe didn’t transition from the lfs to ur tank. Just stressed from the trip. Would keep the water clean and reduce stress. Should resolve on it’s own.

Figured that was likely, when they act like that it is often to late, not sure what causes it.
