lfs... funny story

so the other day i walked in to this lfs thats right by my house they r absoluetly awful but they get things in every once in awhile and sell them to me real cheap, like a baby pbass for $3. Well anyways they were unpacking there shippment and had gatten in like a million oscars. The one girl working there is trying to find a place to put them. Then this other employee, completely serliously, says y can't we just put them in the saltwater tanks :clap .

now i'm not a big fan of oscars but even i don't think they deserve that

OMG!!! Where do they find these people?! They have to lose more money by killing fish than they profit from sales with that kind of staff working there..... Incredible...... :eek:
 
hear stuff like that all the time i hang around a couple big stores cracks me everytime best one i heard was a guy asking how to do a fishless cycle and the employee overworked and stressed told him to piss in the tank i'm not making this up it does work but i sure wouldnt tell a customer this no matter how perturbed i was :screwy:

pissing to cycle isn't that bad of an idea, number 1 it's free, number 2 you won't risk any fish - not even feeders that you'd also have to feed
 
why would you piss in a tank? how would that work, cause of the ammonia?
