well i was going to get a chaco goldknee (grammostola pulchripes) but the lfs just got in some T's that the guy there says are better for handling and are better choices then the chaco. they are:
avicularia avicularia common pinktoe
avicularia metallica metallic pinktoe
avicularia versicolor martinique pinktoe
grammostola rosea rosehair
grammostola pulchra brazillian black
they are all slings except for the rosehair is a 2 incher but its a sexed female and they have a sexed female A. avicularia that is about 2.5 inches. it has to be good with handling because i do programs on exotic animals for the local elementary and one on spiders and other creepy crawlies and to have the star of the show bite me in front of all the little kids would not be good, or to have it jump and split its butt would be just as bad. i have a 20 tall, 10 gallon, 15 gallon and two 5 gallons and am going to be breeding hissing cockroaches and anoles so will have lots of small things to feed it. so is one of thoose better than the chaco? thnx.
