Lfs got red terrors or Mayans

What's a way to tell the difference there about 2in. What's the growth rate of both?

mayan tailspot is big and in the centre, festae is small at the top... my mayan hasnt grown at all. i bought it at the same time as my dovii, both 1.5 inch, after a few months the dovii is now over 4 inch and the mayan 2 inch... maybe its jus mine!

Most obvious way to tell when they are small fry is the eye spot on the tail.

2 Ways to Tell:
1. Y shaped bar = festae
2. Small dot in the middle of the tail = festae

I got both in my tank, I have small Mayan and a larger festae, Mayan has the large spot covering the tail and the festae has a small spot covering the top half but hasnt colored up yet.
