Alright not 100% sure if they got me or my motoro's not accustomed to it yet. But, I've been feeding my motoro shrimp, pellets, and silversides since I've had him. And I was feeling ambitious this weekend and visited my LFS and ask them what they were feeding their rays because I figured I'd give my ray a treat if they fed something different, you know switch it up w/ more variety.
So anyway, the employee convinced me, though he never fed them himself (should of been warning clue #1), that he was positive they were feeding the rays krill (along with other foods). So I forked over my 25$ bought the smallest quantity of krill I could and attempted to feed mine.
Well I've been trying for 4 days, and I've yet to have any krill be eaten (this ray came from them 4 months ago if it matters, maybe he forgot the krill taste?). He seems to be getting quite good at picking out the krill in mixed feedings.
So, I'm sitting here like.. what the H.. .. .. So I did my research. Turns out krill are only found in salt water. So I'm assuming that's why they're not touching it? LFS suckered another 25$ out of me?
So here's my question. Has anyone been able to consistently feed their ray's krill? Or am I sitting on a bunch of useless krill?
