Mostly out of curiosity, what kind of care is needed for them? It's about 16" in a 4' x 4' tank with some juvie leopard sharks (I know they're illegal, that's not the subject of the thread.)m

Lfs owner said they can get to 7 feet. It's $100, but I can get it for less for someone who wants it.

I'm up in SF, would be interested in it as well if they can't ship it. That'd be food in your tank Josh! lol

yeah for sure in the big pool but I have some smaller tanks that I keep my horn shark and other stuff in.

$100 is a cheap shark regardless. The only thing I have ever seen for less were eggs.

Do you have pictures?

I cant wait to get down to LA for the month of January, excited to see all these LFS's. :D

Seems shady. A 7' guitar? Not many species get that big...and most are endangered.
I'd bet 4' or so if it's the local variety.

Treat them like a ray (since technically that's what thet are). Similar diet, water etc...

This LFS wouldn't happen to be on Crenshaw and Pico, would it?

Just curious, because if it is, then I could have sworn those were nurse sharks. I didn't see the leopard shark pattern on them (or I don't remember seeing the pattern).
