LFS in Boston, Portland and Bangor?

Does anybody know of any good LFS in Boston, Portland, or Bangor? I'm going on a trip there this summer and was wondering if anybody knows any worth checking out.
 
hey i live in maine, there arent a lot, but there is one called black shark i think in lewiston, that guy has some nice cichlids and stuff and occasionally he has arowanas he will sell or trade with you.

go to vance's tropical and exotic in Bucksport maine. also in lewiston is a place right near the village inn, and roys all steak burgers...i visited on business..

as far as boston.. i would say tropical isle in framingham, or pets plus in tewksbury.
 
inbetween the two in NH theres jays aquatics, awesome assortment for salt water, and then zoo creatures is cool, expensive, but they have a cool display prob a couple thousand gal. also have incredible reptiles there

Best in NH i have ever seen is plymouth pet and aquarium. jays aquatics is nice, but he is primarily salt now.

pets plus in londonderry is aright..
 
ya but just the amount of salt stuff is cool even tho i dont have a salt tank

the owner jay, is one of the most helpful people ever. he replaced a ballast for my light for free! parts and labor, all free! only stipulation, spread the word of jays aquatics!

never heard of a blizzard clownfish before.. 160$
 
Thanks, i actually went to Vance's last year and got an albino tiger oscar, wild caught peruvian severum, and a nicaraguan cichlid, and they survived the trip from Maine to Moncton N.B, he's a real great helpful guy.
