LFS in Long Island, NY with Jaguar cichlids?

Hi guys and gals,

I would like to purchase a male juvenile Jag. Looking for a LFS in Long Island who stocks them. My store of choice in Deer Park does not stock them unfortunately. I went by Aquarium Adventure in Carle Place and they had a few but I would like to take a look at some other stores as well. Does anyone know of any other stores which stocks them? I'm located in Nassau but would be willing to drive to Suffolk and NYC.

Hi Nightstorm, welcome to the group. If you sit tight for a few weeks I'll give you my next batch of jaguar fry. I live in rockland but I work in the city.
 
Hlee019, I would say they were about 3.5 inches.

Most Petlands have them now. Just make sure to quarantine.
 
$40 is a lot. at least on the other side of the states.
Got my two at different times for 5$ for a 4" female and 11 for a 6" proven male

NY sounds high on price for 3.5" Jags. I can get them for about $5-$7 in Florida. Only the very big adults will come close to that price. F1 and some of the harder to find variants may demand a higher price though.
